about

There's a Jimmy Page-inspired riff in this - featuring an anticipated downbeat which creates an elongated wait for beat two in each bar.

It's the track in which Band of Weeds resembles most the Ordinaires, who were finishing up right around then. Garo Yellin, a member of both bands, takes a great solo on electric cello.

The title came from a poem I wrote during a somewhat unhappy acid trip. It dawned on my during this trip that I was stuck in an unhappy relationship and was nonetheless encouraging the affection of my partner, watering his dreams, so to speak, which grew into misshapen flowers.
